The Pie Drive

Toronto web designer bakes up pies for charity

The Pie Drive, a small scale charitable initiative is back for its sophomore season and preorders are being accepted online starting at 11am today. Web developer Zack Ginies has pledged to bake 80 pies in the first week of December inspired by a love for baking and in honour of the legendary baking prowess of his late nanny.

The homemade, from-scratch pies come in blueberry, raspberry or apple and will be available for pick-up at Zack's house. Each pie costs $20, 100% of which will be donated directly to Covenant House. Nanny would so be proud!
