John Tory really wants you to know that he'll be at Pride

The mayor of Toronto will finally be back at the Pride Parade. After four years of Rob Ford skipping the annual parade to hang out at the cottage, the leader of the city will proudly march in solidarity with Toronto's LGTBQ community. It's about time.

John Tory really wants everyone to know this, so he made a short and somewhat cheesy YouTube video announcing his attendance. I'm not going to be critical of something that's obviously a good thing for this city (the mayor should always attend Pride events and march in the parade), but it's difficult not to read this video as a direct dig at former mayor Rob Ford.

Also: what's with "the best time you can have in Toronto with your clothes on" comment? You know that lots of people proudly disrobe at the various marches and main parade, right Mayor Tory? Either way, it's good to have our municipal leader endorsing one of the city's biggest and most important events.
