Trying to Save the Environment (If not the World) One City at a Time

Last night David Suzuki's "If You Were Prime Minister...." Tour touched down at the Wintergarden Theatre in Toronto. It was a packed house and I don't think anyone went home disappointed as the discussion between Suzuki and guest Stephen Lewis enlightened, inspired and entertained.

About the only downside was the seemingly widespread frustration among everyone present that the Canadian government just isn't listening or leading, and is failing miserably to take the right steps (such as providing the right incentives for going green, taxing polluters and ending subsidies to oil and gas companies) today to save future generations from the impending environmental catastrophe.

Admittedly, the last sentence sounds a bit alarmist so decide for yourself. Listen to the full audio (almost two hours including Q&A) below.
