D-Sisive - Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye
With a string of recent singles, Toronto emcee D-Sisive has released the follow-up to 2009's Jonestown, a free 16-song LP entitled Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye available through the artists Bandcamp page. It does include the tracks If I Live To See Tomorrow and Wannabe, which features Pink Eyes of Fucked Up, as well as a slew of new material that proves why D-Sisive is one of the best, albeit unconventional, rappers in Canada. Two Way Monologues CMW Mixtape
Music blog and concert promotion company, Two Way Monologues, is already amped up for this years Canadian Music Week and have released a special free mixtape featuring thirteen acts playing Rancho Relaxo, TWM's main venue, during the festival. [DOWNLOAD]

The Paint Movement - "Fortune's Window"
Mississauga, Ontario's the Paint Movement have a lot going on with their new track "Fortune's Window," instrumentally. Dual vocals, weaving guitars, quick and thunderous drums, saxophone, interesting time signatures and jazz progressions encompass the tune and make it standout as something unique. Their 7" won't be released until March 22 via Nevado Records, but you can download the A-side right now. [MP3]

Nightbox - "Pyramid"
Though born in Ireland, the Toronto-based Nightbox have just released their self-titled indie pop EP to some decent critical acclaim, garnering early attention due to the records producers, Sebastien Gringer of Death From Above 1979 and AL-P of MSTRKRFT. Now, the band is offering their single "Pyramid" for free stream and download with an email address.
