Artists Help Artists With Benefit Show

Theatre is one of this city's most valuable assets, particularly the small, independent productions. This December, at Tarragon Extra Space, the critically acclaimed SaBooge Theatre's Fathom will take the stage for 4 nights. With funding for such productions being scarce, it's necessary to find other ways to raise funds. And who heeds the call? Other artists. In this case, top-notch musicians and comedy superstars.

So mark Saturday December 3rd on your calendars! The Now Lounge will be the scene for the benefit concert in support of the Toronto production of "Fathom", featuring Peter Elkas, Serena Ryder (worth the price of admission alone), Joshua Bartholomew, and special guests, including Matthew Barber. Your hosts for the evening, Canadian Comedy Award Winners The Imponderables. With this very talented lineup, it's sure to be a great evening of entertainment. Doors are at 8, show at 8:30, so get there early. Space is limited! And tickets are $15 at the door.

Then check out "Fathom" at Tarragon Extra Space, December 15th through 18th. Tickets range from $13 to $15, with Sunday's performance a Pay What You Can.
