Teaser: Sound System Banger

If you're not into hard house, tech, DNB or breaks... then read no further. If you can't stomach a slamming 4-4 beat or manic mayhem, then maybe you should stay home and knit a bootie or finish that 1,000 piece puzzle.

This Saturday DJ Opel's Embedded Entertainment is bringing DDR in from Las Vegas and he isn't messing around. Or is he? Armed with a TR909, TB303, S3000xl, Mackie CFX20 and an Alesis MMT, he's not just playing live... he'll be CREATING live! That's right, he's creating original hard acid techno right in front of your very ears. This rare experience will reveal his true talent as he goes balls-out for a demanding Toronto audience.

In addition, DJ Jelo was requested to bust out his "roughest, toughest techno". If you caught his set at WEMF this year, you know he can deliver one hell of a hard set to keep you sweating feverishly and stomping the Fun Haus's dancefloor to no end.

Breakbeat enthusiasts should be interested to catch something jarringly different from old school favourite D-Monic as he plays a special "tough as nails" set full of heaviness.

D-syfa is bringing an arsenal of white label tracks and there will be a whole room of dark and heavy DNB for everyone.

The Fun Haus On Queen West is always a solid venue with great sound and lighting. Expect an older crowd, as it's 19+ this time. If you're sick of all the cheesy light melodies and crave something darker, heavier, more dangerous... you really can't go wrong for $10 (before 11, of course).
