Buster Rhino's BBQ abruptly closes its Toronto location

Buster Rhino's has shut down its only Toronto outpost today. Formerly located at 838 College Street in Little Italy, this southern-style BBQ joint will live on at its three other Durham-area eateries.

The restaurant announced its swift departure from the Toronto food scene on social media earlier today. Though short-lived, its meat-centric menu and selection of craft beer will be missed on the College Street strip. Here's what Buster Rhino's Toronto had to say on Instagram.

We are saddened to announce that due to personal reasons, the owners of Buster Rhino's Toronto have decided not to continue operations at 838 College St., effective immediately. We would like to thank the owners, managers and their staff for their dedication to the brand and wish them well in their future endeavors. To the customers who enjoyed the food at Buster Rhino's Toronto, THANK YOU. We encourage you to continue to support local restaurants and bars, and we are excited to continue to serve you the best BBQ in Ontario at our 3 other locations in the Durham region.
