OPEN NOW

  • Rickshaw Bar is now open at 685 Queen St. West where Lot St. used to be. Expect a tapas style restaurant with a South/South-East Asian inspired menu.
  • New to Kensington Market, Fancy Pig is now open next to Romeo's Juice Bar - the address is 285 Augusta Ave., but it's actually on Oxford. Look forward to $7 barbecue sandwiches available until late on weekends.
  • Grey Tiger is finally open at 1190 Bloor St. West serving up toast and coffee by day and vegan snacks and cocktails at night.
  • Microtime Cafe, a new 80-seat tapas restaurant and cyber cafe, is now open at 25 Wellesley St. East.
  • The Burger's Priest opens its 11th outpost at 3280 Dufferin St. near Yorkdale Mall at 6pm on Saturday, September 5th.
  • Front Street Foods Market at Union Station has added a line-up of new vendors including the Loaded Pierogi, Kupfert & Kim, and Come and Get It (to name just a few).

  • The coffee wars are brewing at Queen and Ossington. Sam James is about to be joined by Jimmy's Coffee, which is opening at 15 Ossington Ave. this fall.
  • Kinton Ramen continues to expand. A new location is in the works at 396 Church St.
  • The Beaches is getting a new ramen shop too. Ramen Kyouka is going in at 2222 Queen St. East.
