Vita Sociale gets shut down

Looks like Vita Sociale is Toronto's first high profile restaurant closure of the year. The remade Centro, with a more accessible menu and casual vibe, was shuttered earlier this month. A Landlord's Distress Warrant posted to the door and dated January 9th claims $348,964 in rent past due and immediate seizure of the property.

As of the time of this post there's been no update from owner Armando Mano. Their Twitter has been silent since mid-December and their Facebook page has been deleted.

Are you surprised about the shutdown? Will you miss Vita Sociale?
