Record high temperatures in Toronto for Christmas Eve

It's beginning to feel nothing like Christmas in Toronto thanks to today's sunny blue skies and relatively balmy weather.

According to CBC News, we can expect to see the thermometer rise as high as 17 C. By 7 a.m. this morning, it was already 14 C. This is the warmest Christmas Eve on record since temperatures rose just above 12 C in 1964.

While you won't be able to skate outside at Nathan Phillips Square today (the rink has been closed due to warm weather), you can peel off your parka and thank this year's super El Nino for giving us a green Christmas.
