Your morning news roundup AND POLL for Friday August 10th, 2007:

Morning TTC commuters were halted and angered by a major shutdown of the Bloor-Danforth subway line west of the core. The TTC has declared that a personal injury at St.George station was the cause but so far have said nothing more (was it a jumper?).

Three more small, but deliberately set fires kept fire crews busy last night in the Queen & Dufferin area. Perhaps these fires were the dirty deeds of that asinine serial arsonist who has yet to be caught.

"When Panhandlers Attack" could be the theme of a really bad TV show, but it's also what happened near Trinity Bellwoods Park late on Wednesday night. A man was stabbed repeatedly after refusing to give money to a squeegee kid.

An Oshawa tattoo parlour that was using dirty needles was shut down and has since reopened, but not before as many as 2000 customers were potentially exposed to HIV and Hepatitis B and C. Hopefully no one was infected by disease or chose to get Chinese characters running up their neck.

A poll you can vote in after the jump...
