Morning Brew: April 5th, 2007

Your morning news roundup for Thursday April 5th, 2007:

The police crackdown of the Hell's Angels clubhouse is being met with mixed reaction in the community. Apparently the bikers do a good job of earning respect, and the police do a good job of making the raid look like a trophy.

The father of a child that was killed by hanging at a school is not pleased with Dairy Queen. They'll still be airing a controversial television commercial depicting children hung on hooks, and elected to black it out only in Southwestern Ontario.

The city has reversed its decision to close 7 community pools and councillors will still get their free coffee.

Are you a good driver? Want job security and good pay? The TTC needs you. Just don't end up grumpy, supportive of illegal strikes, and lying about being mugged, please.
