Demo Camp 4 at MaRS

Last night I stopped by the Demo Camp at MaRS on College Street near University. I hadn't been inside the MaRS building before and was very impressed. It's totally state of the art and as nice a renovation as I've seen in Toronto.

Demo Camp was great too. There were six 10 minute presentations about interesting projects people are working on. Among the highlights, a couple of people from Idee showed off an impressive visual search tool; and Randy Glenn won the award for perhaps the most entertaining demo of the night, explaining to the crowd of 100 plus how to hack some disposable digital cameras he picked up in some US drug stores.

I'm back at MaRS on Thursday for the start of the iSummit new media conference.
