Move to Ossington means more space and creative freedom for photo-based gallery
Dundas West and Ossington have experienced considerable growth in the gallery department over the last few years. And with the more recent additions of Angell and Meta Galleries (both of which moved from smaller spaces), the trend only seems to be picking up steam. Lending further credence to this theory is the recent relocation of O'Born Contemporary, which used to occupy a second floor space near Yonge and Charles streets. And like Angell and Meta, the new (and much bigger) space has allowed the gallery not only to expand its mandate, but to get more creative in general.
