Snack Attack: Felix & Norton

Every now and then, I get a hankering for something sweet. A hankering, I tell you. That little tooth (the sweet tooth) starts acting the fool, and the only way to silence the bastard is to stuff the mouth with sugary goodness. Once the mouth is stuffed, the tooth begins to calm, the brain releases beta-endorphin, and a high rolls through the body...and that high, well, nothing beats that high. When I need my fix, I shoot over to Monsieur Felix & Mr. Norton.

I snack on their gourmet cookies the same way a dingo eats a baby: quickly and with passionate consistency. I am relentless, and I rarely pause for breath. Thank goodness there are several Monsieur Felix and Mr. Norton locations scattered throughout the GTA. Normally, I hit their Yonge/Bloor location...but check the website for a location near you.

If you have never sampled their cookies, you are doing your body a great disservice. Get over there immediately. Order the menage a trois. It is my absolute favorite. The only downside to this whole operation is the price. You'll pay around 89 cents per cookie--and they are definitely not the biggest. Felix and Norton is a luxury, and a treat for the system. Going there more than once a week should be discouraged--this is an excessive and unwarranted act. Do not overdose. Just drop in occasionally, and show that sweet tooth who's the boss.
