Minimum Wage Pay Raise

As of February 1st, 2007, the lowest anyone can legally be paid by the hour in Ontario will rise ever so dramatically to $8.00. The Star reports that while the government would like to have seen the increase be a little more substantial, it would cause undue stress on businesses. Hey, every little bit helps. I remember when I thought getting $6.50 an hour in Montreal made me the shizzle.

So, what will you be doing with all the extra cash in your pockets next month?
