MUSIC | Tech N9NE, Krizz Kaliko, and The Scale Breakers
Rapper Tech N9NE's moniker came from fellow Black Walt who was giving him props for his high-speed delivery, likening it to a spray of bullets. Tech N9NE has been involved in many project over the years, such as Black Mafia and The Regime. His own albums have reached sales in the millions and his tracks have been used in video games, movies, and television. He is joined tonight at the Opera House by fellow Missouri-ite and collaborator, Krizz Kaliko, and opening act The Scale Breakers.
The Opera House (735 Queen Street East) 8PM $28.50

FILM | Free Favourites at Four presents "Project Grizzly"
It's Bear Country out there! Join Troy James Hurtubise, as he follows the Canadian grizzly bear in this 1996 documentary. In the process he tests out his "grizzly-proof" garb, which is possibly bulkier and more cumbersome than a spacesuit. This is a film that definitely has self-parodying dimension to it. Quentin Tarantino gave it big thumbs up, too!
NFB Mediatheque (150 John Street) 4PM FREE

MUSIC | Capital H, Deadhorse, Ryan Bourne
Another cool lineup at Rancho tonight, courtesy of TWM. It's the Toronto debut of Calgary's Deadhorse, who have been given big thumbs up by Western Canada music publication Beatroute. Their psychedelic and bluesy musical concoctions are reportedly well crafted, and bunk-free! Band member Ryan Bourne with be opening the show with a solo acoustic set. Closing the show is Captial H.
Rancho Relaxo (300 College Street) 9PM $5

CLUBS | Word Up Wednesdays
Special guest DJ J-Class will be dropping some sounds at Andy Poolhall tonight. It's "Word Up Wednesdays," where you get the best '80s and '90s sounds from the schools of Hip Hop, House, Rap, and more! Andy Poolhall is a choice venue right at the top of the College Street strip, with lots of room to move and a great vibe. Check it out!
Andy Poolhall (489 College Street) 10PM FREE
