ART | Nobuaki Onishi
Nobuaki Onishi was born in Japan and now graces Toronto with his artistic prowess, creating objects from resin and paint that can mistakenly be interpreted for the real thing. Shoes you'll want to slip on, tumblers you'll want to sip from; this ingénue art form will play tricks on the mind.

BOOK | Celebration of the new book Quiver, by Holly Luhning
Holly Luhning is a young, bright mind with many awards under her belt. She has written poetry, articles, short stories and more and will be celebrating the release of her newest success, Quiver tonight at The Gladstone Hotel Art Gallery. Quiver is making deep impressions far and wide; the National Post says, "This writing in this novel is as clean and slick as a stiletto between the ribs."

ART | In Front of Us - Yoakim Bélanger
Montreal artist Yoakim Bélanger's opens tonight in the Cooperage Space. He is a master of the human form, creating electrifying pieces that will stimulate the senses. This outstanding show will include 25 mixed media works on discovered sheets of oxidized steel and aluminum, with two main themes, "Groups of distant figures and vibrant, energetic close ups."
