Radar: I Love You Featuring MiMOSA, Our Liner Notes Book Launch, Modra, A Work of Hearts, In Person: Barry Avrich, and more

MUSIC | cirQlar presents "I Love You!" Featuring MiM0SA
If you're wondering, cirQlar is not an error in spelling; it is clever name in front of the self-proclaimed "Circus-Art-Music Mash-up" movement in our very own Toronto. The whizzes behind cirQlar invite you to "explore every dark corner and unlit cranny of L-O-V-E" tonight, with a very special return to the stage of MiMosa and other electrifying guests. A little background on MiMosa: he is a stellar producer who has shared the stage with the likes of Skream, Rusko, Glitch Mob, Bassnector and Flying Lotus, which gives you an idea of how kick-ass this show is going to be.
Revival (783 College Street), 9pm $25 advance

BOOK | Music Sounds Better With You: Our Liner Notes Book Launch
Even those who struggle to express themselves through words are still often capable of channeling their feelings of love and adoration through music. Our Liner Notes is a brand-new coffee table book that explores the undeniable idea that music can be a romantic catalyst. Great music will provide the night's soundtrack including a performance by Foxes in Fiction. Do I hear early Valentine's Day date?
Tabula Rasa (745 Broadview Avenue), 8pm Free

FILM | Modra on the Big Screen in Toronto
If you haven't yet heard of MODRA, now's your first introduction to this critically acclaimed, spellbinding film. It begins in Toronto with a young lass who sets off to visit her family in Modra, a small town in Slovakia. There she grapples with being in limbo between adulthood and childhood and discovering where she fits in. The coming-of-age tale has caressed audiences around the world. Let it do the same to you tonight.
The Royal (608 College Street), 9pm $8 students & $10 adults

ART | A Work of Hearts
With Valentine's Day filling our hearts in a mere matter of days, it's hard to escape the red-encrusted paraphernalia. Cards, stuffed animals and chocolate roses are inescapable around every corner. However for an authentic testament to love, A Work of Hearts by Michael Golland is just the thing. The project was commissioned special, for the Laser Eagles and features original and individual paintings of hearts - all different sizes and colours -arranged in a multi-panel format.
Heat Inc. Gallery (15 Atlantic Avenue), 6:30pm Free

FILM | In Person: Barry Avrich
A very special evening thanks to an in-person appearance of Canadian-born filmmaker Barry Avrich, as he shares his latest film Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project. Famed producer and Miramax founder Weinstein, has a story full of successes, failures, controversy and challenges and Avrich has captured every moment flawlessly. He will be in attendance for a Q&A.
