This week in the Blogerati Files, Freddie P.
Describe your blog in 10 words or less.
A place to exercise my writing skills - whether anyone reads it or not.
Why did you start your blog? Blogiversary?
I started my blog in March of 2006 because I missed being on the radio and it was a way to get involved on some level.
How long have you lived in Toronto?
I've lived in Toronto and the GTA all my life.
What's the funniest/strangest thing that has happened to you in Toronto?, Did you blog about it?
Watching a man lick a pigs ass during Humble and Fred's really tough contest, and yes I've mentioned it on my blog. There's a picture in fact.
What are some of the changes in Toronto that you have seen in your lifetime?
I'm 50 years old. I remember Toronto before the CN Tower and the Blue Jays. And I saw the Leafs win a Stanley Cup.
What era, day or event in Toronto's history would you like to re-live and why?
I'd love to re-live the 60's - The Leafs won four Stanley Cups - can you begin to imagine that.
Who's your favourite Torontonian?
If Pinball Clemons qualifies, it would be Pinball. If not him then weatherman Dave Devall.
Can we believe everything you post on your blog?
Fav post from your blog?
Yes. It's one I wrote about the heavy-hearted day my daughter moved out of the house.
Has blogging changed you or enhanced a personality trait?
No not really. It's allowed me to continue delivering the comments I did on the radio.
Ever met a stranger who already knew you through your blog? How was that?
No. People tend to know of my blog because of my radio career.
Have you had your 15 minutes yet?
No. And probably never will.
Lose any friends or muck something up because of a post?
Not that I know of, although several friends have referred to me as a right wing bastard.
What's happening in Toronto right now that the rest of us should be watching?
Keep your eyes on the Mayor, he's a one man wrecking crew.
You have the opportunity to gather with 5 of your regular readers - who are they, where do you meet and what do you talk about?
They're five people who aren't afraid to admit they like Stephen Harper. We meet in a bar and talk politics.
Have you ever had a question you wanted to ask random people throughout the world?
Yes.. "what good ever came from religion.?"
If your blog were a food, what food would it be?
If you could gather all of the bloggers of the world together into one room and tell them one thing, what would it be?
"Imagine" was the best song ever written.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I own a trailer.
