TasteTO, one of my favourite food-based blogs in the city, has just announced that they're taking a slightly worrisome hiatus. Although co-publisher Greg Clow anticipates a return to action in the new year, the whole tone of the notice on the website sounds rather ominous.

Here's a snippet of the announcement:

"Due to family matters and other personal issues and commitments, it has become necessary for us to put TasteTO on hiatus for the foreseeable future. This will mean no new posts, and no additions to our Events listings (although the latter is already quite complete for the next few weeks).... While we don't have an exact date of return planned at this point, our expectation is that we should be back soon after the holidays."

Let's hope so, TasteTO!
