Trinity-Bellwoods Park to be designated a protest zone during G20 meeting

CTV is reporting that Trinity-Bellwoods Park in West Queen West will be designated an official G20 "protest zone" during the June meeting of world leaders here in Toronto. Police also plan to broadcast live video of the protests at the park for leaders to observe (if they so choose) from the meeting venue - the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC), some two kilometers away.

Will this keep protesters away from the MTCC? How will residents in the area of the park feel about their neighbourhood being turned into a protest hub? I guess we'll have to wait and see how this all works out.
