FRIDAY OCTOBER 8 / DOA / HORSESHOE TAVERN / 368 QUEEN ST W / $15 / 19+
One of hardcore punk's founding fathers, D.O.A., continue their nearly 25 year career at the Horseshoe Tavern on Friday. The Vancouver, BC natives are touring in support of their fourteenth full-length Talk-Action=0, which came out this past May, and look to take over the legendary venue with their outspoken, politically charged message.
SATURDAY OCTOBER 9 / MIIKE SNOW / KOOL HAUS / 132 QUEENS QUAY E / $30 / ALL AGES
Embrace presents Swedish indie-pop outfit, Miike Snow this Saturday at the Kool Haus. After a frenzied North American tour earlier this year that left both fans and critics clamoring for more, Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg make their return to Toronto, this time with local MC Isis Salam (formerly of Thunderheist) and Hamilton's New Look.
