Brian Borcherdt, Julie Fader Live Concert Toronto

Canadian Music Fest in photos (and videos): Postdata, Brian Borcherdt, Julie Fader & More...

For night three of Canadian Music Fest 2010 I headed to the Music Gallery to check out the Hand Drawn Dracula showcase.

Julie Fader, Brian Borcherdt and Postdata took full advantage of the incredible acoustics of the venue and brought along a few special guests for the show including Randy Lee (formerly of the Bicycles), Graham Walsh (of Holy Fuck) and Tony Dekker (of Great Lake Swimmers).

With such a relaxed atmosphere the majority of the crowd remained seated throughout the night, giving the performers their undivided attention from start to finish. Check out some photos and videos from the incredibly intimate concert.

Postdata
Postdata is the minimalist side-project of Wintersleep frontman Paul Murphy and his brother Michael. Their debut album is a collection of sombre acoustic melodies paired with hauntingly personal lyrics.

They recently embarked on a short tour for the project with Julie Fader, with last night's date at the Music Gallery being the lone Toronto date. Their set featured every song off of their debut, as well as a b-side.
