Vene-rica is a butcher shop in the Junction that many people mistakenly think is called "Wholesale Meat" because that's what the sign says outside. Luis, the Venezuelan owner thought it was more important for people to know what the place was about rather than the actual name of the shop (which, in case you're interested, is a combo of his native land and "delicious" or "rich" in Spanish), and he was probably right.

They sell AAA Angus Ontario beef, hormone-free chicken and pork, veal and lamb, plus their own hormone-free, antibiotic-free chorizo and morcilla at wholesale prices. They have homemade chicharron and Latin American pantry products available too. Since they're also a wholesale plant (they supply to Duff's Wings , among other places), they have frequent mandatory inspections by the provincial government - the inspector is there so often he has his own office - so rest assured that they're doing things by the book here.
