Women in Speculative Fiction: Panel Discussion
Join us for a panel discussion with Chinelo Onwualu, Julie Czerneda and Michelle Sagara. They'll be talking about publishing science fiction and fantasy, inspirational women authors, their careers and much more. Traditionally, men have outnumbered women in publishing science fiction and fantasy. But women have always written about spaceships, dragons, monsters and utopias.
Following the discussion, they'll do a Q & A with the audience and book signing. Books will be available for sale at the event by Bakka Phoenix.
This free event will be held on the lower level of the Lillian H. Smith Branch in the Auditorium. Hosted and moderated by Isabel, a Librarian from the Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation & Fantasy.
Doors will open at 6:15pm and the event will start at 6:30pm. No registration is required. Everyone is welcome.
