Water Monitoring in High Park's Wetlands

Join us as we test the water quality in High Park’s wetlands. With Water Rangers freshwater test kits, we will check common water quality indicators like oxygen levels and salinity. Participants will learn about the different animals that call High Park home and how changes in water quality can impact wetlands and aquatic ecosystems.

Price: Pay what you can ($0, $5 or $10)

This event is also taking place on September 14, September 21, and October 26.

This is a stewardship event. Attend 10 stewardship events and get a bandana for free. Check out our Special Events webpage to learn more.

NOTE: Pre-registration is required for all our events, hikes and workshops. We do this to ensure we don’t exceed our capacity for indoor events or the maximum limits for group sizes on High Park’s ecologically sensitive trails. Please register on our website before coming to High Park.

We cannot guarantee availability of walk-in spots. If an event is at capacity, please put yourself on our waitlist. We will notify waitlisted participants if we open up new spots or sessions for our events. Please contact us if you have any questions.
