A chance meeting with Venetian Snares at a Buddhist temple in Toronto has brought about a rare turning point in my music I've only felt this a handful of times before , with Eno , with Rick James , with Dylan ... a window for imagination to jump through. This Winnipeg force of devotion has me on a new magic carpet ride May 31st at the Great Hall Toronto will be our collaborative maiden voyage

I love making music with Dan, he has a real understanding of how to create a world and build what may exist within that world. Bassdrums are trombones and they are a colossal whale which floats on clouds of leaves speaking to the blast furnace feeding the mammoth. A small painting of forest horses hangs in the cranium of the sea horse.
