The Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show in Toronto

The Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show in Toronto returns to The Social Capital Theater for an amazing night of laughs!

Every month Luke Lynndale creates an amazing lineup by inviting three headliners. This month joining host Luke Lynndale are Marc Hallworth, Habib Saim, and Sara Wren. Join us on The Danforth at the Social Capital Theatre's cozy 2nd floor.

Here is a little about each of the performers in the show.

MARC HALLWORTH
March Hallworth has been described as "too poor for how happy he is." Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Marc moved to Toronto in 2009 and has since been part of NXNE, YYComedy, FunnyFest, the Brantford Comedy Festival, “Funniest Clean Comedian on the Lakeshore”, and the Bollywood Monster Mashup, where he opened for Aparna Nancherla. He was the second place winner of the 2017 Flat Tire Comedy Competition, a semi-finalist in the 2017 Toronto Comedy Brawl and 2016 Prove You're A Comic Competition, has appeared on SiriusXM Radio as part of “Canada Laughs,” and was chosen to host the Ontario Celebration Zone as part of the 2015 Pan Am Games.

HABIB SAIM
Habib Saim who was born on Christmas day, a stone's throw from Bethlehem. Habib thought he was the second coming and almost entered priesthood. Several countries and questionable decisions later, he completed his Ph.D. and then decided to start doing stand-up. He has since performed at clubs across Canada, headlined Kenny Robinson's Nubian Show, and produced a comedy special for the Toronto Fringe Festival. Habib also runs an education non-profit and is helping start a Foundation in Toronto, where he currently lives. An admitted basketball junkie, he is likely the only Memphis Grizzlies fan not from Tennessee - or Vancouver. Habib may (definitely) own more shoes than anyone you know.

SARA WREN
Sara Wren is a Canadian stand-up comedian who recently won the 2018 'Notable Stand-up Comedian Award' at The annual Notable Awards held in Toronto. She was featured in NYC's Vulture and Splitsider as a comic to follow, and can be seen on stages across North America, such as: The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, Gotham Comedy Club in New York City, Laughing Skull Lounge in Atlanta and Yuk Yuk's clubs in Canada.

Next show: June 27, 2019
