Tommy Newport is an 18-year-old singer, songwriter and producer from Manchester, England. He relocated to the USA at a young age, and was discovered here in Toronto.

Having released his first single “I Forgive You”, a funk soaked ballad that takes listeners deeper into his idyllic world, the buzz began to spread, catching the attention of Complex + Highsnobiety. With years beyond his age in craftsmanship + musicianship, Tommy is moving forward in full force into 2019 with the development of his "funky yet chilled-out take on psych-rock" + the release of his debut album "Just to be Ironic".

He'll be in the Drake Underground on Thursday, January 31st with special guest DJ set from Al Sow of BADBADNOTGOOD going b2b with Devo of Arrangement Studios.
