Through the Garden Gate: The Beach

One of Toronto’s largest tours of private gardens. Garden-goers will have the opportunity to visit 12 residential gardens, in the unique Toronto enclave of the Beach or as some call it, the Beaches. We make it easy to get around with complimentary shuttle buses you can “hop on and hop off” at garden stops along the route. The garden tour area is also very walkable (and beautiful).

Knowledgeable Toronto Master Gardeners are stationed in each garden to answer your plant and garden design questions. While you’re touring, look forward to other pop-up interactions including live music, local ravine experts and a street fair in the charming Kingston Road Village. Thanks to our partnership with The Beach BIA you’ll have access to digital walking routes that connect to local businesses and the surrounding natural/public spaces.

This outdoor event can be enjoyed solo or with family and friends, strolling along the tree-lined streets, while skipping in and out of gardens. When you purchase your ticket you'll receive a Wildflower seed paper wristband (which you can plant later) that will give you access to the gardens, and a self-guided map so you can discover tour at your own pace.

Come early or linger after the tour to shop or dine at one of the local restaurants or boutiques in the area. There is no other neighbourhood quite like The Beach.
