This Lament I’ll Lip-sync Until I’m Born Again is a interdisciplinary creation of autofiction based on the six performers: four dancers, one actor, one cinematographer. A broken narrative and descent into a black hole of emotional molasses. The religious stages of lamentation serve as chapters in the performance, marking the group's divine pursuit for consciousness. They are chasing truth through the highs and lows, through the feelings that come and go. This Lament I’ll Lip-sync Until I’m Born Again is an after party. A funeral. A long goodbye. A karaoke song on repeat.
