As a founding member of the ‘Fantastic Three’ sound system with the great Lone Ranger ... recording on crucial, foundation labels such as Channel One, Studio One and Sly & Robbie’s Taxi … and later having his songs covered by the likes of Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown & Sanchez … Carlton Livingston and his uniquely smooth voice has made a lasting mark on the Jamaican reggae scene, and by extension, the reggae and sound system culture that is truly a worldwide phenomenon.
And so we could not be prouder than to be presenting this legendary performer on our humble stage down at BSMT254 on SATURDAY MARCH 25, 2023 to kick off our new MONTHLY live reggae series SATURDAY NIGHT ROCKERS!
Backing up Mr. Livingston will none other than the ‘brothers in dub’ - THE DUB CHRONICLES - who, may we be permitted to say, sound particularly great on the HIGHER HEIGHTS HI-FI sound system that is our resident PA.
Further musical support for the evening will be provided by the mighty SUPREME GENES SOUND - who really made this incredible event possible. LORD FURY will host the evening and perform an opening set alongside the Dub Chronicles while DJ KOOLIE HI will be keeping the vibes up all night long.
