WELCOME TO 1926 – HOGTOWN COMES TO THE DRAKE COMMISSARY​

From the creative force behind immersive hits “Hogtown: The Immersive Experience”, “Dancock’s Dance” and “Last Call at the Broadview Hotel” comes THE DRAKE x HOGTOWN. As the title suggests, we’re offering audiences a new opportunity to see elements of our break-out production, newly tooled and fashioned for a unique space – the incredible Drake Commissary.

It’s 1926 in Toronto – aka Hogtown - and although prohibition is still in effect, that’s not stopping tonight’s host and powerful bookie Lefty Lovett from opening the doors to the hottest gin joint in the city. Add to the mix a speakeasy filled with showgirls and gun molls, reckless teen-agers and star-crossed lovers… and you have the world of our play.

THE DRAKE x HOGTOWN continues our belief in presenting site-specific theatre designed to give each audience member a unique experience – featuring live 20’s era jazz, original choreography…plus food and refreshments (don’t worry, we won’t tell the prohibition officers!).
