The Chef Cartel - SE02 - Battle #3

To our Chef Cartel Friends, we have kicked off our Second Season of The Chef Cartel Battles and we are excited to be at the Semi Finals coming up on Monday, March 27th.

We have 4 Chefs competing for the last 2 spots:

Missy Hui Fabbrica vs Olivier Le Calvez El Catrin

and

Jonathan O'Callaghan Freelance Chef vs Tallis Baker-Voakes Freelance Chef

Each Chef brings a lot of experience to the table and we can't wait to see how they will display their skills.

Event Specifics:

Doors open at 6pm and the battle will commence at 8pm. Arrive early to get in -- space is limited!

We are proud to confirm our alignment with George Brown College. We welcome back the GBC Chefs as part of our esteemed judging panel.

Rules of Engagement

The Chefs will have 1 hour to produce two dishes using two secret ingredients 1 Produce item, 1 Protein item. The chefs may create whatever they desire as long as the secret ingredients are used in their final dishes. Along with the regular scheduled program we are also throwing in an extra twist for each battle, each twist is different and allows the chef to compete for extra points when it comes down to judging.

Our selected panel of esteemed judges based on The Chef Cartel's outlined criteria will then judge the dishes.

The Venue CASH ONLY

We are privileged to have a group of local vendors in which guest will be able to sample products. If intrigued you may also purchase the products for a reasonable price. Food will be catered by a local restaurant. All Food & Drink tickets are $5 and available for purchase all night long - cash only.

Transportation

TTC 504 King Street Line drops you right across the street from our venue; make sure to get off at King and Parliament. There is also a stop right outside the venue to take you home.

Driving:

There is parking located at the back of the venue, at standard cost. We will advocate that if you are driving please make sure you drink responsibly. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. More details will follow, as we get closer to the date. Hope to see you all there!
