SUPPORT SMOL: A Women & BIPOC Black Friday/Cyber Monday Weekend Market

This Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, the raani + ross team wants to encourage folks in Toronto to shop women & BIPOC businesses by hosting Support Smol: a weekend long small business pop-up taking place November 26/27. This weekend is always a challenge for small businesses to compete with larger, big box brands and we want to do our part in shifting consumers’ focus to supporting local while thinking consciously about where their $ is going this holiday season.

As a Toronto-based slow run intimates brand designed to take women from day to night, raani + ross values the importance of spotlighting and supporting the work that women and BIPOC run small businesses are doing in order to create better and more thoughtful alternatives to mass production. We’ve thoughtfully curated a list of over 20 vendors (a mix of beauty, skincare, vintage goods, athleisure, accessories, and apparel) to pop up from 11am-5pm at Sort of a Studio, a creative studio and event space run by Teaunna Gray, an Afro-Indigenous creative based in the city.
