Women’s Spring Clothing Swap in the Junction

Clean out those closets for Spring!! Reduce your waste, contribute to the sharing economy, and update your wardrobe while enjoying some of Toronto’s finest craft beer.

The Swap:

Please bring clean, gently used items that you no longer want in your closet - a good rule of thumb is to bring only items that you would give to a friend or sister. Shoes, handbags, jewelry, scarves and hats are also welcome. PLEASE, NO: underwear, swimwear or gym clothes. If you have extra hangers you can part with, please bring those along as well.

The “Rules”:

1. Entry is $5 which gets you up to 10 pieces of clothing and a free 12-oz pour of People's Pint award-winning beer (or something non-alcoholic if you prefer).

2. You do not need to contribute items in order to participate.

3. If you are bringing items to swap, please drop them off at our sorting table, starting at 1 pm.

4. This is a zero-waste event: please bring your own shopping bag.

Other:

1. Expect mild chaos.

2. While we love the idea of men’s, children’s and non-binary clothing swaps as well as books, toys, etc, because this is a small venue we are limiting it to women’s clothing and accessories. Anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome to participate.

3. Drop off from 1 pm, swapping starts at 2 pm.

3. Any leftover items will be donated to the Pegasus Thrift Store, a social enterprise for adults with special needs http://www.pegasustoronto.ca
