Shakespeare Challenge 2018: As You Like It

Shakespeare in Action's seventh annual fundraiser The Shakespeare Challenge is putting on AS YOU LIKE IT on March 29th at 7:30pm at the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto.

This years show will feature the talented Tim Harrison, Janet Hurley, Howard Goldby, Julia Macleod, Nancy Lupiani, Barbara Bryan, Marc Devlin, and Will Gauthier directed by our artistic director Michael Kelly.

What is the Shakespeare Challenge?
Now in its seventh year, community members from the corporate sector fearlessly take to the stage in productions of Shakespeare to raise funds for Shakespeare in Action’s educational programming, including this year raising support for our new permanent home in the Artscape Weston Common in Fall 2018.

With little to no acting experience, these brave participants put on a marvellous show for you so we can bring accessible Shakespeare to all.

Purchase a ticket for the Shakespeare Challenge Gala Fundraiser and join us for:

An abridged version of As You Like it, performed by our courageous Challenge Champions;

Delicious catered food, a cash bar, and a chance to mingle with the performers after the show;

A live and silent auction with fabulous items including some great dinner-and-a-show, travel, and more;

The chance to give youth in priority neighbourhoods across Toronto access to the arts.

Doors open at 6:30pm, the show goes on at 7:30pm, and the silent auction will follow.
