Queen West Art Crawl Online Festival 2021

Queen West Art Crawl Kicks off Online Festival Sept 15th

Queen West Art Crawl (QWAC) will be presenting its festival online this year from September 15th-19th, with new entertainment options uploaded to the festival website everyday, bringing audiences and artists closer together.

This year we will be following up on our 2020 award wining virtual exhibit, including online interviews with our visual artists, expanded Kid’s Zone Content and even more to watch on our digital Main Stage. Musical Acts include the JUNO Award nominated AutoRickshaw, Canadian Idol Theo Tams, and DJ/Vocalist Sandy Duperval, along with co-presentations with the Toronto Blues Society. Drag sensation Sofonda Cox, a QWAC regular, will be rejoining us with Jada Shada Hudson to delight fans of all ages, while Fay ‘n Fluffy get all done up in their best frocks to read stories for the little ones. Our Kid’s Zone includes daily Camp Cowabunga performances, and comedian Velvet Wells will be bringing a family friendly comedy show to our Main Stage. All entertainment provided by QWAC is free to the public, no passwords or paywalls, just like it would be at our traditional home in Trinity Bellwoods Park.

But the Queen West Art Crawl isn’t centered around entertainment. Our daily dose of online content ensure that visitors return to the festival website and enjoy all the spectacular artists showcased there. We have everything from oil paintings to wood carvings on display, with a portal to each artist’s websites where you can purchase unique art for yourself or as a gift for the upcoming holidays. Every artist gets showcased across our social media platforms during the festival and select artists will also be interviewed online by Adam Bailey and Kristin Mueller-Heaslip.

All QWAC events are free and can be accessed at www.queenwestartcrawl.com Sept 15th- 19th, with new content uploaded daily at 6pm, and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
