ProtoTO: Toronto's tabletop game design convention

Play board, card and role-playing prototypes all weekend at ProtoTO, Toronto's tabletop game design convention. Playtester feedback is integral to making good games great. Play new games created by designers including Christopher Chung (Lanterns), Sen-Foong Lim (Junk Art) and Erica Hayes-Bouyouris (Bosk, Kodama 3D).

Playtesters are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the weekend. Buy your ticket online or at the door. View schedule and get tickets:

Get an overview of all of the games during the Games Showcases on Friday night, and play the games that interest you during playtesting sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

There is also plenty of open gaming where attendees can play one of the many games available in the BoardAgain gaming library. Raffle draws for great prizes will happen Saturday and Sunday, and all are welcome to keep the fun going at the ProtoTO after parties!

Designer Jonathan Gilmour (Dead of Winter, Kids on Bikes) will host the special ticketed event Playtesting and Failing Faster on Friday night. On Saturday night, content creator and writer Nicole Hoye (Daily Worker Placement, Greatway Games), member of The Dice Tower team Mandi Hutchinson and head of marketing for Leder Games Caryl Tan will share their favourite games at the ProtoTO Top 10 panel.

ProtoTO is all about building community. Connect with the tabletop game design community, play games during open gaming and make new friends at the ProtoTO after parties.
