// Oh Geronimo
'Oh Geronimos upcoming album, The Sled, traverses the peaks and valleys of companionship, ego, self-perception, and explores what happens when they collide. The release of this record will mark a year since half of our band put down their torches a year that demanded patience, persistence and resiliency. Often times the universe begs us to throw in the towel, but were fighters. We will never extinguish the fire, and The Sled solidifies that resolution.
Too high up on your mountain of aspirations, responsibilities and expectations; the ground is far below. A deep breath, and you let instinct take over. Without any conscious decision, you climb upon your Sled. Barreling downward, cold wind drawing the moisture from your eyes, your mountain dissolves behind you. Freefall into the moment. Answer your inner-call. Oh Geronimo.'
// Little Coyote
Lively, wily, and beautiful as a northern coyote, 21 year old Teagan Johnston grew up, and grew into the nickname Little Coyote. The name was adopted while in the Yukon, Teagans mother was driving to the hospital in labour when a coyote ran across the late March snow cover roads and gazed into the car. Combining classical piano, ethereal guitar, driving percussion, bass and synth, Little Coyote and her band mates are a force to be reckoned with. Now having matured into her name and musicality, Little Coyote has relocated her project to Toronto, Ontario, playing esteemed venues such as Lee's Palace and recording her highly anticipated debut album "The Trouble With Teeth" at Candle recording studios this past November.
