NTFT Awards Show

“I’ve been losing hope on my future day by day but today

you showed me it is POSSIBLE to put my mind to things and accomplish them so thank you for inspiring me to keep fighting for those good days” – Kai, Student

Imagine a world without bullying, without stigma, and without negativity. On Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 at 7-10 pm EDT (doors @ 6 pm) you are invited to help create a kinder, more inclusive world by supporting the 2nd Annual NTFT Awards show at Arcadian Court in Toronto. The NTFT Awards are a fantastic opportunity for businesses and community members to come together and make a difference to support youth like Kai. The event recognizes students and schools across Canada who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in standing up to bullying and stigma. For example, in their 2021 NTFT Awards show, the students at Chetwynd

Secondary School won an award for organizing the first ever Pride parade in their community after participating in the NTFT Virtual Tour programming.

This year, the NTFT Awards show will be MC’d by 99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto’s # 1 Hit Music Station’s very own On-Air Personality Jax Irwin, and will feature live performances from award winning artists including CTV’s The Launch winner Michelle Treacy, Softcult, Meagan De Lima, and JUNO Awards House Band MO’ Spence & The July Soul Band. The event will also include special performances from Drag Performer, TV Personality and Finalist from Canada’s Drag Race, Scarlett BoBo and NTFT’s very own Founder Elsie Morden! With award presenters

including Racial Justice Analyst & Strategist, Educator and Lawyer Anthony Morgan, Pride Reporter at ET Canada and Host of Call Me Mother on OUTtv Dallas Dixon, Olympian Anjelika Reznik, Film Director and Actor Tim Myles, Therapist, Speaker, and Comedian Natasha Halliday, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Trainer, 50x Award-Winning Marketer Keka DasGupta, and Keynote Speaker and Entrepreneur Sam Demma, the NTFT Awards show is an event you won’t want to miss!

There will be appetizers, a cash bar, and raffle/silent auction prizes.

All proceeds from the NTFT Awards show will go towards NTFT’s 2022-2023 programming for youth.
