New Ho Queen: One Year

ONE YEAR!!!! It's been one year since we first came together and we are taking up space in the village. Come celebrate one year of New Ho Queen with us at Glad Day Bookshop.

As queer Asians, we do not all share the same identities, but we have -all- experienced some form of trauma as a result of our intersectionality. For this reason, please remember to show mutual respect to others. Do not assume gender, sexuality, race or otherwise. Please share the space with love and openness. No homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, ableism or non-consensual physical contact of any kind. If you see any problematic persons in the space, please notify a New Ho Queen Collective member.

While everyone is welcome in our spaces, please remember that this space was born out of a lack of spaces for queer Asians and QPOC folx. With that in mind please DO NOT arrive in groups containing only non-Asians and/or non-QPOC. We ask that you arrive with those you are supporting. While inside the space, we also ask that you be extra aware of the space you are taking up and the gaze with which you observe others. If we feel that you are being disrespectful, we may approach you.
