Mindful Intentions: A Movement & Meditation Workshop
The New Year is an opportunity to start fresh and invite new possibility into our lives! Set mindful intentions by tapping into the powerful practice of mindfulness.
This 90 minute workshop will include a gentle yoga practice designed to prepare your body for meditation (including a scented savasana massage), followed by 2-3 mindfulness meditation techniques, journaling intention-setting and discussion.
This workshop is suitable for anyone wishing to explore or deepen their understanding of this beautiful practice.
Please bring a pen, a journal and an open mind.
Space is limited to 14, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
The cost is $30 + HST.
The session will be led by Kathy Parsons, meditation guide, yoga teacher and ‘type-A in recovery’. Kathy has been practicing and studying mindfulness techniques for over 10 years and believes that there is a meditation practice for everyone. She encourages students, friends and family to experiment with different methods to find the right fit and connection.
