Midlife Momster: A One Woman Musical Comedy
It's been a year in the making! Finally Toronto's original musical mom and urban dancer Lara Bazant divulges all the delightful and disastrous details of her spontaneous Kundalini Awakening and 'mid-life millennial phase' in 40 minutes jam-packed full of feisty fun. Seating is limited for an intimate experience.
Lara graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the late 1990's and quickly began touring the US with Biggs Rossatti Productions. She then proceeded to play out a 20 year stint at corporate life, messy divorce and accidental spiritual awakening turned nervous breakdown - eventually using to comedy to make a comeback. Now barely recognizable as the same person, she has recently been caught crooning at The Second City, Yuk Yuk’s, and Comedy Bar.
While navigating the pandemic as a single mom Lara survived a volatile spontaneous Kundalini Awakening and 12 month overshadowing/spiritual walk-in from a dark attachment. Her transformational journey is an inspiring story of self-love in crippling crisis. For the past year Lara has used dance, comedy and somatic art practices to forcibly push herself out of the madness brought on by Kundalini. Most people wouldn't laugh about this... but Lara can, and she'll make it hilarious for you too
