Her honest and insightful yet silly and spontaneous account of her transgender journey has turned heads across North America and has earned her appearances at renowned festivals such as Just For Laughs, Halifax Comedy Festival, and many others, as well as earned her a writing role on the 30th season of "This Hour Has 22 Minutes".

Though she has taped stand-up performances for CBC Gem and Crave and can be currently seen every Friday on OutTV/Apple TV's third season of "Drag Heals", Al Val is surely an act that must be seen in person to be believed - and celebrated!"
