McCready Lecture on Canadian Art: Jolene Rickard

Visual historian, artist and curator Jolene Rickard gives a talk on Indigenous Art History and decolonial aesthetics.

Rickard is an Associate Professor at Cornell University, where she is also Director of the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program. Her work focuses on Indigenous art and material culture in a global context, with expertise in Haudenosaunee historic and contemporary art. Rickard is a citizen of the sixth nation of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Tuscarora Nation.
