Lunch with Bencher Candidate 2019 Caryma Sa'd
Did you know that every four years, 40 lawyers – 20 from inside Toronto and 20 from outside (known as “Benchers”) are chosen to rule over the legal profession in Ontario? These Benchers play a significant role in deciding the policies that will govern the legal profession with a view towards the public interest.
I am a candidate in the 2019 Bencher Election. Please join me for lunch to discuss current issues, such as access to justice, mental health, and barriers to entering the profession. I am also here to answer any questions you may have for me.
Everyone is welcome and lawyers are encouraged to attend.
Attendees will be responsible for paying their own meal. Space is limited, so please RSVP if you intend to join us.
This event is open to members of my other Meetup groups and Facebook, so expect a decent turnout.
Super excited to meet everyone.
