Non-for-profit, Kid2Kid is thrilled to be hosting a Kid’s Marketplace at the Beaches Recreation Centre on Saturday June 3, from 1pm-4pm. There will be approximately forty youth entrepreneurs selling things such as birdhouses, sea glass art, snow cones, kaftans, cotton candy and more. Half of the money they raise goes to support Kid2Kids’ initiatives and they keep the other half. There will also be a huge silent auction featuring items to bid on from all local businesses, including Mastermind Toys, Afterglow Studio, Therapy Lounge, Little Kitchen Academy, Jasmine Wang Photography and many more. Designer April Cook is creating a relaxing adult lounge, kids play area - which includes free face painting & balloons, a photo station and giveaway booth. Come out with the family, enjoy live music, a fun marketplace while supporting a great cause - kids in need.
