Canada’s Biggest Japanese Festival will be held in August 2017. Japan Festival Mississauga is coming back as “Japan Festival CANADA 2017” to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Further Enhancements and Larger Scale

In 2016, the largest Japanese Festival ever held in Canada, “Japan Festival Mississauga” was held. The event recorded the highest number of attendees to the venue, Mississauga Celebration Square, next to Canada Day and New Year’s day celebrations. The second time event will be renamed to “Japan Festival CANADA” which will be held at the same venue in 2017 attracting Canada-wide attendees.

Transmits the Fascinating Japanese Culture

Japan Festival CANADA will continue to be the largest Japanese Summer events in Canada transmitting the attracting and fascinating culture of Japan. The new experience for visitors who do not know much about Japan to discover and for some visitors to re-experience the summer festival that they know, this event will be enjoyed by many visitors, families, friends, communities.

Let’s Celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary

One of the themes for this event is to together celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary with Japanese community, Japanese nation and Canadians and other communities through this event.

The milestone year, 2017, Japan Festival CANADA will be celebrating this special year together with people who somehow related to Japan, Japanese companies based in Canada, Organizations and its affiliated organizations and of course the visitors to the event. There will be many Japanese and Canadian related booths offered including Japanese food booths as well as Canadian food booths. Japan Festival CANADA committee is committed to further support the establishment of Canada and Japan relationship with the event sponsors, vendors, attendees and staff and celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary.
